Volunteering

Volunteering is a great help for the Animal Shelter (CAA). In addition to helping promote the work of the centre and finding potential adopters, volunteers can dedicate part of their time to walking one of the animals assigned to them.

Volunteering can involve temporarily fostering an animal or spending a few hours walking them outdoors. Volunteers can dedicate as much time as they want every Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to take a walk with one of the animals housed at the centre. They can also choose the temporary foster option, which allows the animal to have a home while a permanent adoption is arranged.

In this way, volunteering at the Animal Shelter directly contributes to the well-being of the animals: volunteers help them regain trust, give them affection, and participate in their daily care. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to help and a love for animals.
